Pakistan Auto Show in Lahore receives overwhelming response

The Pakistan Auto Show 2016 being held from 4th to 6th March 2016 at the Expo Centre in Lahore, has received an overwhelming response from the leading automobile manufacturers from around the world, representing countries like Japan, United Kingdom, Italy, China, Taiwan and Malaysia. 

The Chairman of PAAPAM – Mumshad Ali stated that “More than 135 international and local companies will be exhibiting their products and technologies during this year’s event. Organized by the Pakistan Association of Automotive Parts & Accessories Manufacturers (PAAPAM), this annual mega-event showcases the tremendous potential of the robust automotive sector in Pakistan. 

Among the most prominent international exhibitors at the event are;  Toyota - Japan, Honda - Japan, Suzuki - Japan, Massey Ferguson Tractors – UK, Land Rover – UK, Fiat Tractors – Italy, FAW Trucks / Cars - China, Yamaha Motorcycles – Japan, Hino Trucks / Buses Japan, UD Nissan Trucks / Buses – Japan, Land Rover – UK, and Isuzu Trucks – Japan. Other major participants include; MNingbo Haishu Guda Import & Exports Co. Ltd., Najing Jinniu Mechanical Manufacturing Co. Ltd., Universal Business Link FZC, Shenyang Machine Tooling Co. Ltd., China & Pakistan Trade & Economic Association, Gold Sun New Energy Science & Technology Co. Ltd., Norinco and NRB Bearings, along with RK South Asia SDN, BHD.

Mr. Mashood Ali Khan, Senior Vice Chairman PAAPAM gave the detail that “Forty international large-scale buyers representing prestigious companies like; Ningbo Xinchang Machinery Co. Ltd., Qingdao Zhengyang Chain-Drive Factory, Dongying Monday Rubber Technology Co. Ltd., Qingdao HuawuRubebr& Plastic Co. ltd., S.C. Rulmenti S.A., SAMSON Compounds Ltd. and SATELO have expressed their interest in attending the Pakistan Auto Show 2016”.  He further said that Various important Visitor Groups like: TVH (Belgium), Sparex (UK) and Hatat (Turkey) will also attend the show, while more than eighty international guests, representing countries like; Czech Republic, China, Taiwan, Malaysia, Sri Lanka & Turkey will also grace the occasion.

The Chief Organizer of Pakistan Auto Show 2016 and the former Chairman of PAAPAM - Syed Nabeel Hashmi stated that: "This grand event reflects the nation’s pursuit to become the future hub for auto manufacturing, since Pakistan is already the cheapest source in the world, for producing tractors. Over the years, this exhibition has emerged as the most resourceful platform for the Automobile industry, attracting enthusiastic participation from numerous countries.
