Huawei has changed the game with
its revolutionary new processor – Kirin 960,which has the tech-savvy
people going crazy. The new Huawei Mate 9 is enriched with this powerful
chipset, and is changing the smart phone experience with its ‘Artificial
Intelligence’ characteristics. This fascinating device gets faster with its
usage over time.
Just like its predecessor - Kirin
955, the new Kirin 960 is built on a FinFET process (16nm), but promises much
better performance and efficiency, compared to its older model. This chip
promises a performance boost of up to 18%, than the previous model. The
device is truly enriched with ‘Artificial Intelligence’ as its performance
becomes faster with its usage over time. It keeps on analyzing and adapting to
its user’s behavior and patterns, and works to create a personalized experience
that is clean, fluid and inspired by natural environments. It has become
more smoother and responsive by 180% increase in GPU performance pushing the
limits and making the user experience even more enjoyable.
The Huawei Mate 9 also came with a
limited time upgraded Porsche design. This Mate
9 Porsche Design is smaller and even faster than its mass-market sibling. Codesigned with the Porsche team,
this design has all the superior features Porsche is known for, simplicity,
sleekness and above all the mindblowing speed! It out speeds all its smartphone
competitors in the mobile market just like a Porsche sports car on the racing
track. The Porsche design borrows the
Kirin 960 chipset, but ups the memory to 6GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. In a recent press talk for the
launch of Huawei’s Mate 9, the Country Manager of Huawei Pakistan, Mr Blue King
stated that; “Huawei firmly believes in staying at the forefront of the
technological horizon, with a vision to become the biggest and most innovative
producer of smart technologies in the world.”
Talking about the previous Kirin
950, it had a 4x4 A72/A53 configuration with an i5 sensor hub, and the GPU was
ARM Mali-T880MP4 900 MHz. The new Kirin 960 has marked a significant jump, both
in performance, as well as efficiency, compared to previous Kirin chipsets
since it consists of an octa-core processor of 4x4 A73/A53, an i6 sensor
hub and the GPU consisting of ARM Mali-G71MP8 900 MHz.
The Huawei Mate 9 - being the
first carrier of the Kirin 960, is also equipped with a groundbreaking UX and
second-generation Leica dual-lens camera with Hybrid focus and Hybrid Zoom. Its
CPU delivers the best multi-core performance among all smart phones.
Other features of the Mate 9
include; 5.0 Memory, 64GB ROM, 4GB RAM, along with micro-SD card slot, that
supports up to 256GB (using secondary SIM slot). It is equipped with a
large 5.9 inch FHD display screen, featuring a 2.5D glass, and
exceptionally high resolution and high contrast.
