Huawei overtakes Samsung at social media standings

Recently, Huawei has overtaken Samsung at social media. It has crossed Samsung with a huge brand followers and social media interaction statistics, particularly on facebook. Huawei is a leading technology manufacturer and solutions provider in the world. In Pakistan, Huawei particularly enjoys a huge brand followers and mammoth market shares as compared to any other international or national brand. Only in Pakistani market, Huawei has witnessed remarkable growth rate of 15% during 2015, making Huawei the most successful and the most trusted brand in the market. Moreover, even from the beginning of a new year, 2016, Huawei has outstandingly grown in the market in terms of brand value, brand awareness, positive growth trends and smart phone record sales.

Huawei has already been recognized as “Socially Most Devoted” technology brand, a couple of months back. No doubt, Huawei has policies to keep its customers engage in the market with high quality smart phones of almost all ranges, and to interact at social media platforms to update, entertain and build a strong relation with customers and brand followers. Huawei is incredibly satisfying its customers in Pakistan, particularly, and growing with an accelerated pace that has not been witnessed by any other company this year. Huawei has shifted the momentum, not only in the market, but also in every sphere of life and it has connected itself deeply with the consumer, productively.

Ever increasing market shares of Huawei Pakistan is clearly upsetting Samsung and now at social media Huawei in control as well. It seems that Samsung has been outdated in its approaches towards the market as well as on the social platforms. Even the newly launched signature smart phone S7 is facing difficulties to impress the customers. Whereas, Huawei Mate 8 is comparatively admitted as a better choice in the market.  The global technology master, Huawei, is anticipated to achieve a status of No.1 technology brand in Pakistan soon. Huawei has set the examples in smart technology world, corporate policies for consumer satisfaction, interaction with the brand follower of social media and even in the world of entertainment. Huawei is a technology brand of this era with the most modern and the strongest approach.

Going Green Is Great for the Environment and Property Values

Today, the positive effect of a healthy environment on the quality of our everyday lives should be extremely apparent to everyone. Global warming, air pollution, toxic drinking water and a corrupted food supply are global and local issues that affect each one of us.

Reducing our carbon footprint by building parks and green spaces addresses many of these problems. In Karachi, for example, where average temperatures have risen greatly in recent years, citizens are calling for the creation of more green spaces to combat the intense heat.

For real estate investors and owners, going green has the added benefit of increasing property values.

It has been reported that cities with a high percentage of green, natural spaces like parks and gardens have a better quality of life. More than 50 percent of the world’s population live in cities today. In 30 years, that number is projected to grow to around 70 percent. This means that green spaces are more crucial than ever.

According to Lamudi research, Pakistanis are intensely aware of these issues. In a recently conducted survey, the vast majority of respondents said they believe that sustainable and environmentally friendly properties are extremely important to them.

It is surprising that some people have not caught on and continually deny the issues that we are facing as a global population. If increasing the quality of life in our cities is not compelling enough, perhaps looking at it from a financial perspective will help. As previously mentioned, it has been reported that the value of properties with access to parks and green spaces are higher than those without.

Furthermore, as we have seen in New York City’s Chelsea neighborhood with the construction of the High Line Park, even very expensive real estate can increase in value with newly constructed green spaces.

Reports from the US city of Chicago claim that real estate prices increased by about 7.1 percent in the six months leading up the grand opening of the Bloomingdale Trail, a park similar to New York City’s High Line.

And if that’s still not convincing enough, consider the mental health benefits of having access to green spaces. Parks and gardens benefit us all, but they do not benefit all of us equally. For poorer communities, the benefits are relatively greater.

Mental health services are out of reach for many of our cities’ poor. Since the affluent already have access to mental health services, the positive effect of parks and gardens on them is smaller. As such, green spaces are also a way of fighting class inequality.

Going green should be a forgone conclusion at this point. It benefits our minds, our bodies and our pockets. And more importantly, it is a path to justice for our poorer communities.

EcoStar highlights deceptive sizes of LED TVs sold by generic brands

EcoStar is a well-liked brand of electronics that reflects technological excellence in PAKISTAN market. It is the leading producer of LED Televisions with world-class quality and cutting-edge features. In Pakistan, DWP Group is the manufacture of EcoStar that ensures nationwide availability of its products, along with prompt after-sales support, through an extensive network of outlets.

EcoStar has launched an awareness campaign for consumers, to let them know about the malpractices in the LED TV market. It highlights the deceptive screen-sizes being sold by several generic brands of LED Televisions, as many generic brands of LED TVs do not measure up to the claimed screen-sizes. The campaign shows that many generic TVs claiming to be 40 inches in size, are actually 1 to 2 inches smaller. This deceptive practice is more common in 40 inch, 43”, 50” and 60 inch LED televisions. So be careful when you buy and make sure you get the actual size of LED you have paid for.

EcoStar advises the buyers to actually measure the LED screen before purchasing any Television, whereby the consumers are assured that EcoStar never compromises on the screen-size or display-quality in any of its TV models. Every television buyer should be aware of the correct way to measure the LED screen. They should take an inch-tape and measure the LED TV screen diagonally; from the top left corner to the bottom right corner of the screen. This will give them the accurate size of the screen.

The feature-rich LED TV models produced by EcoStar include; the ‘4K UHD Smart LED TV’ - (VERO), the ‘3D Smart LED TV’, the ‘Smart LED TV’ and the standard ‘LED TV’. EcoStar products have won several international awards, as many consumer surveys prove that each of these products is the best in its own category as they offer a wide range of exciting features and spectacular picture quality.

The prices of EcoStar LED Televisions are also very competitive, so the consumers get the greatest ‘Value-for-Money’ whenever they purchase these durable televisions. Thus, the buyers can be sure that EcoStar is a reliable global brand that will never deceive them. The slogan of this awareness campaign reflects EcoStar’s commitment, saying; “Competitors take Full amount to give smaller size…while EcoStar takes smaller amount to give Full-size.”

Samsung Elevates Mobile Phone Picture Quality with Dual Pixel Technology in its Newest Image Sensor

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., a world leader in advanced semiconductor technology, today announced its newest 12 megapixel (Mp) image sensor for smartphones, which will elevate the quality of mobile phone pictures. Already in mass production, this 1.4μm-pixel-based image sensor is equipped with Dual Pixel technology that has been reserved for DSLR cameras. The technology enables rapid auto-focus for fast photo shooting while producing premium image quality on mobile devices, even in low light situations.

“With 12 million pixels working as a phase detection auto-focus (PDAF) agent, the new image sensor brings professional auto-focusing performance to a mobile device,” said Ben K. Hur, Vice President of Marketing, System LSI Business at Samsung Electronics. “Consumers will be able to capture their daily events and precious moments instantly on a smartphone as the moments unfold, regardless of lighting conditions.”

Samsung’s new image sensor with Dual Pixel technology employs two photodiodes located on the left and right halves of a pixel, while a conventional image sensor dedicates less than five percent of its pixels, with one photodiode each that converts light particles into measurable photocurrent for phase detection. As each and every pixel of the Dual Pixel image sensor is capable of detecting phase differences of perceived light, significantly faster auto-focus has become possible. With such groundbreaking improvements, the image sensor ensures clear and sharp images especially for moving objects even in poor lighting conditions.

The image sensor has also adopted Samsung’s ISOCELL technology, which isolates the photodiodes in each pixel with a physical wall to further reduce color cross talk, maximizing the image sensor’s performance.

For top-of-the-line performance while keeping the size to a minimum, the new image sensor is built with cutting-edge chip-stacking technology. The Dual Pixel image sensor stacks a 65 nanometer (nm) sensor and 28nm logic chip together to deliver outstanding photo-taking experiences in today’s sleek smartphones.

Pakistan’s Real Estate Sector Is Perfect for Flipping Properties

Buy low, sell high. That is the basic principle behind flipping properties. In other words, flipping is when investors buy inexpensive properties and sell them at a profit after their value increases.

But how do you ensure that a given property’s value will increase? Lamudi Pakistan has the answers, according to the Lamudi guide to flipping recently published on Lamudi.pk.

Pakistan’s Up-and-Coming Areas Are the Key to Success
According to the Lamudi guide to flipping, the ability to identify up-and-coming areas is extremely important. This ability is required to find the perfect location and property to invest in for short term gains.

In Pakistan, it is relatively easy to find up-and-coming areas, even in famous and high-demand developments. For example, a 125-square-yard residential plot in Bahria Town Karachi’s Ali Block that cost between Rs. 1,700,00 and Rs. 4,000,000 in 2014 can cost between R.s 4,000,000 and Rs. 7,000,000 today.

That’s a potential profit of more than 300 percent.

Based on this, anyone can see that flipping is a possible source of immense wealth, especially for investors who are able to flip multiple properties. Pakistan’s real estate market is full of potential for flipping because of its many areas with affordable prices and rapidly increasing property values.

Other locations where property values are expected to continue their exponential rise are DHA City Karachi and Islamabad’s Sector F7.

The Lamudi guide to flipping demonstrates how to identify up-and-coming areas. It also shows how to find the right property, the right purchase price, the right budget and finally, the right sale price.

Not all properties can be flipped immediately. Many require maintenance, renovation or construction to increase in value.
